Download absorption and emission spectra from online database

Reference dye UV-Vis absorption and emission spectra

The a|e spectral analysis freeware allows you to download dye spectra of more than 200 commercial dyes directly from Invitrogen's homepage and into a|e for further analysis. The spectra are those provided in the online fluorescence spectra viewer at Invitrogen's homepage (now part of life technologies^TM).

1. Press Ctrl+D, or push the Globus in the toolbar.

2. In the dialog box, select dye.

3. Press OK. The absorption and, if supplied by Invitrogen, the emission spectrum of the dye will be loaded into the figure window. Note that both spectra are provided by Invitrogen with a peak amplitude of 100.
