How to turn off text zooming in Windows
In Windows 7 there is a setting for turning on "Text zooming" and in some cases this is by default set to 125%. If this is the case, texts in MATLAB GUIs are zoomed beyond the object itself. It is highly recommended turning off text magnification in Windows:
Navigate to Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Display -> Make text and other items larger or smaller:
Select 100% and press Apply.
Restart MATLAB and run the program again.
